Neighbors,

The City is looking for residents interested in serving on the city advisory board that oversees the San Mateo City library system. This is a relatively low-effort volunteer service opportunity that provides a great chance to help out our libraries.  The City is continuing efforts to modernize its library services to meet 21st Century needs.  I bet a bunch of Bay Meadows residents would have great advice for the city about that!

More info at the link below.  The application form is short and simple.  For best results, I recommend sending a short letter with a little more background about you and your ideas and interest.

The city usually only gets a few applications for these positions.  Bay Meadows residents have a lot to offer the city, so I encourage you to consider applying.

Residents of the City of San Mateo are invited to submit
applications to serve on City Boards and Commissions.

For more information and to apply, go to this link:

Applications are being accepted until February 3, 2017 at 5:00p.m. or until a sufficient number of applications have been received.
